I have to admit that Kevin Rose has become an Internet Rockstar and his popularity has helped make Digg even more popular. It’s amazing what both Josh and Kevin did and I give them both credit for creating something that the people would love and find useful which is the purpose of building web apps.
A Really Cool Plugin

Link Building
Leave a CommentWhat I have learned while trying to get websites ranked on search engines that content and quality link building is key. Link building has become tricker now a days with people now being able to buy links on sites that have a high Pagerank or other websites not wanting to link to you because they are your competition. So where do you begin if you are a new site and want to get links and build up your Pagerank? Well here are some resources that I found that could help you:
Decipho Blog
With not being in school anymore and having more time to work on Decipho and writing on this blog, I wanted to add more topics to write about and mention. Not only will I still write about the progress of Decipho and new features we add but I also want to write more about how search engines work and how to get your websites ranked. I also want to write about new technologies that come out that I find interesting and adding video clips that I find funny or interesting. I hope to have at least two or three post on average so please stay tuned!
Down Time
We want to thank everyone who has signed up and used Decipho this past week. We never expected that many people to visit without us really spreading the word. We also appreciate all of the feedback you have given us and we plan on making some changes to make Decipho better. To do this will be offline for a while starting on Friday as we make upgrades to the system and improve the technology. Progress
Just an update but things have been going smoothly lately with Decipho that I think we’re close to our public launch. I’m hoping that in the next couple of weeks my next blog post will be “We Finally Launched.”

To show you the power of search, a friend of mines did a search on my name and found this embrassing web page of mines that I created in a summer school class in the 7th grade that I thought they took down. This summer school class was the first time learning how to program and I think I have come a long way since then

Who am I
Someone asked me to write a little bio about myself but I was very reluctant to do so but I finally got the courage to do so. I’m 23 years old and started my first business at the age of 20 which was related to travel to Hawaii. The one thing I loved about this business was trying to get ranked on the first pages of Yahoo and Google. I researched how search engines worked and got so interested in them that I decided to try and create my own which is now Decipho.
Decipho has not raised any outside funding. I just want to innovate, create and have fun!
New Landing Page
We have finally added a new landing page and are close to finsihing development. We will begin inviting are first beta users to test out the site so if you signed up please check your email. This is a really exciting time for us since we our almost done and have done this all without VC money. We are looking to have open public beta in mid May.
